Meet Tim
Tim Bosworth is currently retired and realizing his dream of living and writing full-time on Cape Cod. He has shifted toward plays in the past few years, is working on his eighth play, and thinking about two more. Tim is still finishing up some of his older, longer works though, and putting out an occasional poem, but he is plugging nearly all of his energy and effort into writing and producing plays. Tim values the simple, authentic, and straightforward.
Tim is also a trained violist and chamber musician. Chamber music is music composed for a small, intimate group of musicians. Characters are Tim's instruments, dialog his melody, and setting and subtext the harmony. More and more, Tim is bringing music into his plays.
Tim is twice divorced, has 2 children, 5 grandchildren, and a great granddaughter. He was born in Becket, Massachusetts, in 1946, and has lived in many different places: Niskayuna, in upstate New York; Madison, Wisconsin; Kent, Ohio; Bloomington, Indiana; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and, during the Vietnam War, he was stationed in Würzburg in what was then West Germany. He has been, at different times, a market and survey researcher, a residential real estate agent in Philadelphia, and a smoking cessation researcher.
